Oakdene Care Home is located in the beautiful market town of Wimborne Minster and is a 71-bedroom care facility that is more than happy to welcome you into the Oakdene Care Home family. Although the town itself is steeped in lots of rich history that’s ready to be explored, Oakdene Care Home is slightly more modern. That, however, does not make it any less luxurious; with stunning decor and plenty of space for our residents to make their own, Oakdene is always ready to greet new people with open arms.

Our exquisite en-suite rooms have been carefully renovated to the highest standard. All rooms have bedroom furniture, central heating, a TV, WiFi, and an accessible en-suite, all of which are designed for the ultimate level of comfort and convenience. As well as this, our residents can communicate with loved ones at any time of day or night since each room has its own telephone point. At Oakdene Care Home, our priority is keeping our residents safe and happy, no matter what.

All rooms within our Dementia Acorn Community have walk-in showers, ensuring ease and comfort for residents.

Support Whenever You Need It Most

We understand that moving into a new home can be an incredibly stressful activity, especially if you have too many items and not enough hands to help out. Our amazing ‘move-in coordinators’ are always available to help new residents make the move from their current home into Oakdene Care Home as smooth as possible. Residents can relax knowing that the burden of moving house isn’t solely on their shoulders, and that they can easily get help from members of our friendly staff whenever they need it. We recommend organising the process in advance to ensure you get the most help you can from our coordinators.

All of our bedrooms are furnished to an incredibly high standard, and in a way that encourages our residents to bring their own items to make it feel a little bit more like home. Each of our rooms has access to WiFi, a telephone, and central heating, as well as an incredible en-suite wetroom.

We love it when our residents feel like they can really call Oakdene Care Home their home, so we encourage residents to bring them in order to personalise their rooms. From small pieces of furniture to photos and decorative items, feel free to bring anything with you that might make Oakdene feel just that little bit more like home.

We encourage all of our residents to invite their loved ones to come and visit. Whether your guests join you in your room or in one of the many communal areas we have here at Oakdene, your guests will be made to feel like part of the Oakdene family in no time at all. Our open-door policy allows for your guests to come and go whenever they like.
