Our Newest Overseas Recruits

Oakdene Care Home is proud to hire individuals that truly have a passion to help others and make sure that our residents can live their lives to the fullest while living in a person-centred care home. 

Recently, Oakdene has hired several overseas professionals to join the home and support our team in providing the highest standards to our residents and meeting their every need. We'd like to say a big welcome to Abigail, Vida, Abu, Pheona, and Jaustifer who joined in March and have started their training with the facilities Unit Lead, Theresa. 

Already, all of the recruits have had a huge warm welcome from not only the staff but also the residents of Oakdene and they are all settling into their new roles very well!

We are looking forward to the future and we have plans to have an ‘Inclusion Day’ where they will all take turns to lead the Head Chef, Simon, in producing a lunch for the residents that reflects each one of their cultures. 

Many of the staff were also recently treated to a visit to our local Hostelry as it was Mollecia's birthday, and enjoyed an evening together, getting to know one another better and enjoying a well-deserved break.

Oakdene Care Home is located in the heart of Wimborne Minister and offers a range of important services including Residential Care, Dementia Care, and Respite Care.
