Love Is In The Air – Valentine’s Party Fun

This Valentine's Day at Oakdene Care Home, we wanted to ensure residents were able to celebrate the day of love, by throwing a Valentine themed party.

We invited our residents, their families and staff along to the party for an afternoon tea with a glass of prosecco and some lovely food.

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and joy as guests mingled and enjoyed the delightful spread laid out before them. Laughter and chatter filled the air, creating a sense of community and togetherness that is at the heart of our care home.

Residents, many adorned in their finest attire, were delighted to share this special occasion with their loved ones. For some, it was a chance to reminisce and connect with family members, while for others, it was an opportunity to make new memories surrounded by friends and caregivers.

The afternoon tea menu featured an array of sweet treats and cakes. Where each bite was savoured, adding to the overall enjoyment of the festivities.

As glasses clinked and plates were emptied, there was a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the moments shared together. For our residents, these gatherings are not just events; they are cherished experiences that bring comfort, companionship, and a sense of belonging.
