Meet the Team

Oakdene Care Home has a team of professionals that are dedicated to each individual within our home and they all have a passion for delivering high-quality care that is person-centred. Our home believes in forming strong relationships with not only our residents but also their families. We are able to achieve this by treating everyone with respect and as a home, we ensure that everyone within Oakdene Care Home feels valued and fulfilled.

    Heidi has worked with the Care Concern Group for a few years and has worked in some of our sister homes, running a 20-bed residential unit successfully before progressing to become deputy here at Oakdene Care Home. Heidi has lots of experience and qualifications including her NVQ level 5 in management and leadership and loves to support staff in their training. Heidi is the train the trainer for the home.

    Heidi has a passion for dementia and wants to ensure the residents are well looked after and happy here with us all at Oakdene Care Home.

    Valentina started working at Oakdene Care Home on the 15th of February 2024, she is delighted to work at Oakdene and be part of the team. Valentina has worked in the health professional industry for 26 years.

    She is delighted to see our residents looking after their self-esteem and how lovely it is to see their wellbeing changing every day.

    Millie joined the Oakdene team at the beginning of March 2024. After many years of being in events management, Millie is embarking on a new adventure within the care industry.

    Remy has been working in Oakdene for 3 years now and absolutely loves it. Remy has worked her way up from a carer to Head of department in activities. Remy thoroughly enjoys planning trips for our residents to enjoy and most of all seeing them happy makes her happy.

    Ben Dodson. Head Housekeeper. Ben has worked at Oakdene since 2012. Ben is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the home. He is passionate about promoting a culture of good practice within his team of 5 housekeepers. Ben is often found completing word games with residents in the lounges!
